Volkswagen has rolled out its latest advertising campaign under its Think Blue initiative.

On August 5, the automaker launched a TV spot and print ads over in Germany to transmit a differently colored sustainable mobility message. Think Blue, says VW, conveys an eco-friendly vibe and motivates people to join in by heightening public awareness for sustainable action. The spot tells the story of fuel efficiency at Volkswagen, from Think Small to Think Blue. Product and technology highlights from the automaker's past, present and future are drawn on a sheet of music accompanied by the Beach Boys hit "Wouldn't It Be Nice." The spot debuted in Australia on July 1 and will launch across much of Europe before year's end. You can see VW's Think Blue Symphony spot (and a making-of video) for yourself by hitting the jump.
